BA Star StarDust Product Review
August 22, 2013 by
I like eye shadow, a full makeup job isn't complete with sexy eye appeal, right? For my complexion, I wear all colors, but gold and bronzes really stand out. I have a few companies I love, but I have certainly come across a few duds, so I'm always up to try something new if it is longer lasting. I never heard of BA Star before, so I was happy to have a chance to try their product!
What's included: It comes with a Body Shimmer Base. That's pretty cool because it's supposed to be a popular product with performers, so it may not drip away as you sweat. "Natural or dramatic, day to night. Can be used for cheer, dance, performance or every day!" - BA Star
First thought: It comes in a plastic wrapper, not the kind of wrapping I'm used to, but I won't judge a book by its cover, lol.
My experience: I have been eager to try this since it arrived at my house days ago. I usually get dressed up and wear heels and makeup wherever I go, but since school has started back this week I didn't really have any reason to leave my house other than to take my kids to school. I'm going out tomorrow, but I'm feeling impatient. Tonight, I decided to try it anyway. I won't bother doing a full makeup routine which includes the eyeliner and mascara for now, I'll just show you how the shadow looks while wearing my eyebrow makeup and lipstick!
After you open the container, it has an additional protective tape that you have to peal off in order to access the powder. When I saw the powder I was surprised to see that it looks like a few of the other shadows I have.

This was a trial run, and although you're unable to see it in the photos, the bronze sparkly shadow is really bright and beautiful. Once my husband is available to take the photos for me tomorrow I will post more pictures then! So far I really like it, I give it a 5 stars!
Update: (Actual Night of Sexy Eyes) (bottom photo)
I am a fan! It comes on easily, but not OFF easily. What I really liked was while doing the "sloppy" eye style, I was able to use the eyeliner over it without it feeling like work. With some powders, when I try to line over it with a pencil liner, I would have to add a little more of the powder because I would accidentally rub some of the powder off while lining my eyes. I didn't have that issue here because the powder doesn't rub off easily. I also brushed a little of the powder on my finger so I can have a little glitter surrounding my eyes (above the cheeks).
If you're a performer you should try it. They even offer free samples for dance schools, etc. The above is the Bronze StarDust which is sold for $8.75. The StarDusts are available in 9 different colors. Check out the BAStar.com website to view the full line of make up and accessories they have!
