Guess what? I got another chance to try some healthy snack samples. This time, Bestowed's November Box.
This box was packed!

In the box was a bag of Crunchmaster Multi Seed Crackers. Honestly, I wasn't too excited about that one. Multi Seed? Hmm...
Crunchmaster Multi Seed Crackers
Here are my thoughts on the crackers and other contents:
Note, because there are so much included in this box, the review will be done in a few days.

Crunchmaster Multi Seed Crackers: I thought this would taste like a cracker, but it tasted more like burnt sesame seeds. I've never been a fan of sesame seeds, so this snack was a no for me. In the box was a tube of Wild Garden Roasted Garlic Hummus Dip. I decided to spread the dip on the crackers and it was really good...together!

About: The crackers are baked, gluten free, 100% whole grain, cholesterol free and all natural.

Wild Garden Roasted Garlic Hummus Dip: I have always liked chick peas, I'm used to them in Caribbean dishes like Roti, etc. I love the flavor and liked it just as much in this compact dip tube. It's very easy to spread and the tube makes it a simple on the go snack.

About: All natural ingredients, gluten free and no preservatives.
Questbar Natural Protein Bar (Chocolate Peanut Butter) Review
Questbar Natural Protein Bar (Chocolate Peanut Butter): Chocolate and peanut butter? Of course, I'll be happy to try it. Unfortunately, this did not taste like a candy bar. I definitely felt as if I was chewing on something health related. The chocolate in this protein bar was like a brownie. At first chew I did not like it, I didn't like it by second chew either! The peanut bits were a little too small for me to notice, but I did taste the sea salt.

About: High in Fiber, Gluten free, no sugar or artificial sweeteners, 20g of protein and all natural!

ZICO Dark Chocolate Flavored Premium Coconut Water: My mom is a Trinidadian, my father is a Puerto Rican, I know what coconut water tastes like. In fact, I don't think there is anyone from the islands who have not had coconut water. The way we experience it usually by climbing or shaking a tree and chopping the tip off with a machete OR by buying one from a street vendor. I know how the coconut can then be used in food, especially rice and peas dish. I thought I heard it all, but this is the first time I ever heard of chocolate flavored coconut water. I'm intrigued...but honestly I was a little nervous about my first sip. However, it wasn't bad at all. It tasted like one of the powdered low fat chocolate shake packets mixed with water that I've already grown accustomed to drinking since I have changed my diet slightly. I did not taste the coconut flavor in this drink.

This may be a tolerable choice for people who want the hydrating qualities of coconut water but do not like the coconut water taste.

About: "replenish", "hydrate" is what the bottle says. It has 5 electrolytes, as much potassium as a banana, 6% daily value of iron, dairy free, lactose free, gluten free / GMO free. One cause for concern is the ingredient "carrageenan". I have never heard of this ingredient and since this is a health product I decided to Google it. On many websites, it is listed as a questionable natural additive used to thicken up certain foods. "Carrageenan could be causing inflammation, gut irritation, and even cancer." read more

Life Ice All Natural Citrus Chomp: This was pretty good. I like the taste of it right out of the freezer when it's really cold, when the freeze is gone it tastes like a "diet" snack (if that makes sense). A serving size is a full tray and there are 24 cubes per tray. They're really small, less than an inch in length and less than 3/4" wide.

About: Life Ice Ices are all natural, preservative free, gluten free, fat free, low calorie and GMO free snacks. 35% Vitamin A.
