Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolates Review
November 25, 2014 by

Mrs Cavanaugh's Chocolates made my Holiday Gift Guide list because they are delicious!

I wasn't sure when my sample would be delivered, so when it did arrive, I was 2 days late taking it out of the mailbox and it had melted. I put it in the fridge for an hour so it could harden and started trying some of them. Mmm, mmm!

In the package I received a box of assorted chocolates and 4 singles. The flavors of chocolate bars sent to me were:

  • Milk chocolate truffle and mint
  • Milk chocolate and caramel
  • White chocolate with coconut and almonds
  • Dark chocolate with almonds

All the flavors in the singles packs were delicious. I especially liked the white chocolate and the caramel bars. They may not have looked good because they were melted and lost their original shape, but the quality was still there.

In the 9 oz box, there were flavors I loved and a few I wasn't a huge fan of. As I mentioned previously, I've never been fond of fillings other than coconut, caramel or nuts. My way of getting past that and still enjoying the chocolate were to eat around them! For customers like me who are a bit choosy, you can select the flavors you want in your box. In addition, for a limited time you can get two boxes for the price of one! (see coupon code below)
