NeoCell Collagen Beauty Builder Review
January 20, 2014 by

I was offered the opportunity to try NeoCell's Collagen Beauty Builder Supplements and was excited because I know quite a few people who take Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins and have had great results. So this offer came right on time.

Reason I was hesitant: Once the box arrived and I opened and read the back of the pill bottle, the first thing that stood out was that the "suggested use" is 6 pills daily (three tablets twice a day). I was a little bothered by that because I do not like to take pills at all. I would be willing to take 2, but having to take 6 is a little much. Plus, they're not small pills, so aside from having to break them in half, I will have to start with just 3 daily until I know I can handle it.

Why I decided to give it a try: Last April I decided to go natural (hair wise) because I noticed breakage in my hair and a brittle mid section. So, no more hair relaxers for me or harsh products. I also have short brittle nails and some skin issues. I already began making a change towards weightloss and hair care, why not work within? Plus, here's an excerpt from the box...wouldn't you want to try it after reading this?

"Collagen Beauty Builder is an all-natural nutraceutical solution for youthful, radiant skin and overall beauty - beauty that starts from the inside. Loss of elasticity in the skin, thinning hair, and brittle nails are common signs of aging that are the result of diminished collagen levels in the body."

I'm hoping to have fuller eyebrows, fuller hair and great skin. I begin my hair, skin and nail care journey tomorrow!

Day One (January 22, 2014): On day one I took three pills, crushed them and added them to a glass of juice. I felt no different than I did before I took the pills, so thankfully no side effects. I tried one of the Chocolate Mint Beauty Bursts, they weren't that bad. I'm not a fan of "healthy chocolates" (lol) and since I'm already taking the pills I will send the Beauty Bursts to my mom for her to try. I will follow up with a review of her experience with NeoCell product as well.

Day Seven (January 29, 2014): After three days I started taking the recommended three pills, twice daily. No ill feelings.

Update (February 16, 2014): Final results!

I do not see any obvious changes to my skin or nails, but my hair is in fact stronger. I have curly hair and when washing there is usually a lot of shedding. I still have a bit of shedding as expected (normal), but nothing that would cause me any concern. My hair is also thicker and a bit softer. The results of these pills were not what I initially expected but it has only been a few weeks and my hair has changed for the better. Stronger hair? I'm sold!!!

After continued use, I would expect to see changes to my nails and skin. Things like this need time to work, so I shouldn't expect a miracle in less than a month. However, after the improvements to my hair, I'm a fan!

Mother's Update (February 19, 2014): When it comes to the Chocolate Mint Beauty Bursts, my mother noticed stronger nails and new growth in areas of her head where her hair was thinning. She took the beauty bursts along with multivitamins. She mentioned that although she has been taking multivitamins daily for years, when pairing it with the beauty bursts it gives her noticeable results. She has already bought another bag from the GNC near her home. So, it's safe to say she's a fan also!
