Purex Plus Clorox 2 Stain Fighting Detergent Review and Giveaway!
May 10, 2016 by

After years of yelling, "everyone get your hampers!" my kids are at the point where they do their own laundry. My oldest likes to wash dishes, I know...strange, but I like to run the dishwasher. My youngest enjoys vacuuming, so the iRobot was a waste. As chores become easier for me to do, I'm realizing the technology I use is taking away my children's opportunities to earn their little bonuses.

Today was a good day for cleaning, and as I got ready to load the clothes, my 7 year old reminded me it's his job. Laundry isn't rocket science, and for kids who have been blessed with so much, why have I been resisting their assistance?

With his load of laundry, we also had to clean their table cloth. For some reason food misses their mouths and land next to their plates. If it's not spilled juice, at the very least gravy or crumbs will be on the table.

The stain in the picture above is the gravy from stew chicken and a little oil. I purposely left it to harden and dry so I can see how effective the detergent would be in getting out an oil stain. As you can see in the final photo, it works just as I hope it would.

Please excuse the wrinkles, I left the tablecloth in the dryer overnight before putting it back on the table.
