Ronda Writes Product Review Disclaimer: I received the above product free for the purpose of a review. It is my honest opinion of the VTech Kidizoom Smart Watch DX.
I would NEVER recommend a product I did not experience, and do not believe in.

I'm always a willing participant when it comes to trying something new. My son was as excited as I was (of course!) when he heard he would get to test VTech's Kidizoom Smartwatch DX. He's always running up and down in our home and outside, and I enjoy watching him be active. So any opportunity for him to have fun, while ridding himself of some of that energy before bed time is welcomed...even when it includes technology!
With the Kidizoom Smartwatch DX, kids can take up to 1600 photos and eleven, 1 minute videos!

Large but light.
It can handle normal "kid" misuse and moisture (do not soak it).
Battery is rechargeable.
Includes a really nice plastic case.
Holds about 1,600 photos and about 11 - 23 minutes of videos (each 1 minute long).
Best suited for kids 6 (maybe) and under.
USB cord is short.
Does not come with a regular charger.
Rechargeable, but the battery is not replaceable (well, that certainly shortens the life time of this toy watch!).
Takes long to charge.
My son enjoys playing with this mainly because he likes having a camera on his wrist and the voice recorder. He thinks it's cool for his flag football games. It works better than I expected and even has more abilities than I knew of originally, like the pedometer and calendar.
The games are more suited for younger kids, but he did enjoy the Action Challenges. Which comes in handy for his football, since he's always challenging himself to run faster than he did before.
The main concern I have is battery life. As of now my son enjoys it, and I was hoping when he grows out of it I could give it to one of my nephews, but unfortunately the battery is not replaceable. Hopefully, I won't have to worry about that for a few years!
