Lorissa's Kitchen Gluten Free Protein Snacks
February 4, 2017 by

I was provided with a variety of Lorissa's Kitchen meat snacks to review. I don't follow a strict gluten free diet, but I do like to take advantage of trying food that omit certain ingredients, since I'm trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Most gluten free products I've tried, especially when it involved a snack, have tasted a bit bland. Regular jerky style snacks I've had in the past have been a salty, so when trying one that is made with better ingredients, in regards to taste, I didn't expect much. But...

Lorissa's Kitchen Gluten Free Protein Snacks
They are delicious!

Lorissa's Kitchen protein snacks are Gluten Free, have No Added MSG* and No Preservatives. Available in 2.5 oz bags and 4 flavors, you can enjoy Szechuan Peppercorn, Sweet Chili, Ginger Teriyaki and Korean BBQ, which happens to be my favorite.

The beef is 100% grass fed, the chicken is raised without antibiotics and the pork is raised responsibly. That was great to read and important, but I was more interested in the taste! I don't care how healthy something is, if I don't like the taste, I won't eat it...

I started with the Korean BBQ and bam! I was hit with flavor I liked and before I knew it, the bag was empty. Being my greedy self, I opened the other bags to taste them and although they weren't as flavorful as the Korean BBQ, they were also good.

I didn't want to share, but I wanted to get the opinions of my husband and children. They all loved it and my husband asked me to find out where to buy more. Which brings me to the only issue I have...

There are many pros when thinking of these protein snacks, the only negative I found was the cost at some locations. The bags are small at just 2.5 oz., so before you know it, its empty. The regular price range starts at around $4.49, depending on where you shop. Currently, they're available at Walgreens, Target stores and I spotted them at my local Publix. They're available for purchase at multiple websites online also, including Amazon.com, where it appears to be most economically priced at this time. 2 day shipping, ordering from the comfort of my home AND saving money, score!!!

Here's where I make a shameless plug...
