I couldn't wait to try the Seeds of Change organic rice. I have been trying to eat better and one of the things I'm always told to stay away from, but WILL NOT is rice. So why not try a healthier version of it, that still satisfies the need, but is a better option?

The rice comes in two forms. You can choose the packet or the box. The packet takes only 90 seconds to cook, but the boxed rice takes about 45 minutes to make. From a list of options, I decided to try the 'Seven Grain Shrimp Bowl' recipe, except with the Indian Rice Blend and omitting the ingredients my family would not want, red peppers for example. This way, dinner would be ready quickly!

This was delicious! The Indian Rice Blend tasted just as good as West Indian Rice and Peas that I'm used to eating so I didn't feel like just because it's healthier, it's lacking in flavor. My family loves broccoli, so I added more than required to the pan and a few slices of avocados to our plates and dinner was served! I give Seeds of Change's Indian Rice Blend two thumbs up! I cannot wait to taste the Seven Whole Grains!
